Site Hoarding Solutions can provide you with an approved hoarding design to present for wind loading and temporary works. Hoarding designs can cover all types of hoarding no matter how they are fixed.

For a hoarding design to pass temporary works, we need to be provided with the following information:

1. Site location. - This is important to the temporary works design as we need to ba able to calculate the average wind speed for the area so we can provide you with the best possible hoarding solution to ensure the hoarding will withstand any type of weather.
2. Expected duration. - This is important to us as we need to calculate the duration period that we will need to make provisions for the public, i.e. temporary road/footpath closures, crossing points, hoarding licenses etc.
3. Dimensions. - This is important as this will help us calculate the expected duration of the works and also the added provisions for the wind load design for temporary works as this may need extra supporting i.e. smaller post centres over a greater distance or bracing on every post.
4. Signage. = Site Hoarding Solutions can supply and install site specific signage and can also design and install hoarding graphics for advertising purposes.
5. Ground conditions. - Ground conditions are important to work out the depth and also width of post holes for a dig in hoarding and also for working out the overall load for a free stand hoarding system.
6. Utilities/services. - This is important for working out what option of hoarding is best for you. If there are a lot of underground services then it will be a better option to have a free stand hoarding to eliminate the risk of striking utilities which can be costly to both Site Hoarding Solutions and the client not to mention our contractors life's.
7. Special loading requirements. - Special loading requirements of a site can be affected by offloading restrictions for certain times of the day and this can have a knock on affect for the progress of the hoarding so it is important to have a fool proof plan when hoarding works are commencing and daily briefings so that everybody that is involved in the installation knows what is happening and when.
8. Access ways. - Access ways can be restricted by height, width and payload. Site Hoarding Solutions can liaise with councils on behalf of our client to get hoarding licences, temporary road closures and temporary footpath closures whilst the works are being carried out if needs be.
9. Space restrictions. - This can also cover a range of things inside and outside a site boundary such as storage areas for hoarding materials and also restricted areas outside of the site where hoarding works are being carried out. We can work with site managers and residents to ensure the least disruption to both parties throughout the duration of the works.

Once we have all of the above in place we can pass the approved design to our wind calculations department for approval and certification.
